MS Outlook is one of the best and most high-usage program. One day I had very complicated problem with it and couldn't manage it. Besided my Inet was off and only my friend having come helped me. He by chance installed one software which finished my tortures. After that I consider that it has quite resources for solving any problem in this sphere - convert pst without outlook. IP: Logged |

I have Outlook 2003 running on my PC. I recently bought a Laptop & installed Outlook there too. I wanted to bring across the .pst Personal Folders Data File(s) and initially did this by using a memory stick. I used the copied over files and had emails added to it. Then using an external Hard Drive I copied the file(s) back to my PC. Again the data file received emais added to it. All other aspects appeared to be OK as far as I could tell (I didn't however go looking for trouble!). Then I copied the data file(s) back to the Laptop, using the External HD once again. Again, the data file received emails, added to it and all else seemed to be ok, apart from some issues I was having with contacts folders (of my own makeing!). BUT. I now appear to have a problem. The problem is with the Find Function. On an email if I ask it to Find All Messages from this Sender. I get a response error message that says, it cannot do that action because the folders (in the search - namely; Inbox & Sent) are not available !!?? I am having difficulty resolving this issue. Anyone know of a fix ?? (Getting a bit desperado, as the Inbox is filling up rapido!). I noticed that this sites' 'topic's' last 'post' was in January 2008 - so hope everyone has not migrated elsewhere / gone to sleep! Cheers. X ------------------ IP: Logged |
