Mindy hi, can you logon to your mail provider via the Internet to retrieve your mail?

This has all the hall marks of a mail relay issue most ISPs will allow to retrieve mail from a mail account but if you stop paying the will no longer allow to relay mail through their network

happy hacking dave

Mindy,
I am sorry for the delay in getting to your question, and no you are not on your own. I think what may be wrong is that your server settings, are not right, even though you can receive your email just make sure it is right.

Task 'Marc and Mindy - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0D) : 'Unable to find the e-mail server. Please verify the server information in your account properties.'

Note: I've installed Office 2003 again to repair any problems there might be. That didn't work, however, it did fix the problems I was having with word and excel. I've removed the existing email account in Outlook and set added it again being careful to fill in the settings correctly. Mindy

I set up outlook 2003 and it worked fine. Now, however, after about 4 months of operating it I can receive my mail from my sbcglobal.net server but it won't allow my to send messages. I receive this error 0x800ccc0d. I cannot find much on this error when I googled it. What I did find indicated it was a norton antivirus issue but I don't use norton. I called sbc to see if they could fix the issue but they were of no help and told me to contact microsoft help but I'm trying to avoid the cost of using their support. Can you help me? Mindy
