Better. I dont really know what is going on but it seems to be working without as many notificatins of things being blocked. It seems like Microsoft has added some things in their programs that have taken a lot of control away from the average user. Thanks for the help. Sorry for the soapbox speech. (It had some dust on it)

I found the MSN messenger files in the program folder, but it wont let me delete them. They are not listed in the add/remove folder in the control panel.

Delete MSN messenger? Yes you can delete MSN messenger and it should not hurt anything.

The Outlook thing seems to be doing better. Dont know why or what changed. It only happens occasionally now. I now have MSN Messenger to keep running and signing in. I have turned off eveything I can find, but it keeps coming back.Can I delete it without hurting Outlook or anything else?

And the problem started as soon as you installed Office 2003, are you using Internet Explorer as your browser?

A little more information. I removed Outlook 98 and installed Outlook , Powerpoint, Excel,Word. (2003 Office)

Okay if you open up Outlook then go to Tools-Options-Security-have a look at automatic download settings see if there is an option in there that you can uncheck.

When Im at a web site and I go to file, send, link by email, outlook starts the send email window. Where the link or attachment should be is a message that says "outlook has blocked access to the following potential unsafe attachments". it then list the link. It does it on this site as well as some that I know(think) are safe. Any Ideas? I tried changing the security settings, but it didnt help. Its Office,Small Biz. Edition 2003

Are you using the Small Biz contact manager, and when you say cannot send a link do you mean you cannot send a link in an email, or where at?

I just loaded Small Buss. Ed of Office. Now Outlook wont let me send a link from a web site. Can I get around this?
