If you need assistance locating a driver, and you do not know what type of hardware you have, then go here http://www.majorgeeks.com/download181.html download AIDA 32 and this software should tell us the information you need so that we can find the correct driver. Any other driver related problems should be asked in this forum.

Sorry for not getting to your question, in a while but if you do open the case, and look inside you might want to check the power cable, or the drive just might be going out. Let me know if you have any questions, against sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

I don't know how to safely open my computer to check this out, but my computer's CD rom drive is completely missing, as in it's there but it's not there. Nothing is sensing it. When I go into "My Computer", nothing shows up. Then, sometimes on a fluke, it works. Then it goes back to not working. Please help? Don't want to spend a lot of money on a possibly easy problem to fix.
