I emailed the person back, but they have not replied, I don't know if they will, so I will have to see if I can find the software myself.

I cannot get it to work either, I am thinking you would need the software that you are missing, I don't think that site works or is down, so I am going to try some other ways to email them, I will let you know.

It's a digital camera, but it says that it should work as a webcam, too. And no, the website won't load for me either

And when you plug the camera in your XP system into your USB port do you hear a noise like a ding?

I have tried using it on both my Windows 98 computer and my Windows XP. Neither worked. I also made sure that my camera was on when I plugged it in. When I turned on my camera I switched it to PC Cam and the little light above it was red. When I plugged it into my computer, it turned green. Nothing else changed, though, and the image on the camera was a blue screen that says "PCCAM Mode". It said this both before and after I plugged it in

What Operating system are you using? And when you plug the camera into the USB port make sure the power on the camera is on.

Alright. I found the other instruction manual, but the webcam still doesn't work. There is a two page section called "Using your camera was a web cam." It then says Setting Up and it tells me to connect my camera to a USB cable and then connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port. I did this, but nothing happens. I installed the only CD I could find, but that only had photo editing programs. After plugging in the camera to my computer, I tried to use it on MSN and AIM, but both times it said no webcam was found. I dunno what's going on?

I will tell you everything that it says.

It is a piece of paper folded into six sections. On the front section it says "Quick Guide 3.1M" and then it explains how this guide will help you to set up your camera and use it in "A", an automatic, point and shoot mode designed to produce the best results in mose circumstances. It then says for more complete imformation, please refer to the 3.1M User's Manual. I don't have this and can't seem to find it anywhere. On the rest of the pages it explains how to insert the memory card and batteries, how to set the time and date, how to check the focus mode, how to adjust image quality, how to chose an image size, how to compose your photosgraphy, how to check flash, how to take a picture and how to check the result. That's about it

The manual you have, does that have any kind of documentation for it besides how to insert the batteries? Such as contact info or a web address, or an email?

Do you know where you got this camera at? I cannot seem to find it, I can see where it is being sold at, but I cannot find enough information for any software that came with it.

Nope. I found the manual that came with it, but it only tells you how to change the batteries. I can't seem to find the manual anywhere online

Nevermind, I found the software. The only problem is the instruction manual isn't helpful at all and I still can't figure out how to work the webcam feature. Do you have any advice? The camera is by "Orite" and is model Vc3210

I have an Orite Vc3210 camera, and I want to use the webcam feature. The only problem is that I lost the software disc that came with it. Is there any way I can get this information somewhere so that my camera will work on my computer? Thanks
