Do you have the 98 cd? Try this, go to start-run then type in SFC and fix any files that need to be fixed. Do you know the exat model of audio device you have?

I sincerely apologize for the delay in my response to your question. Your question is very important to us. The recent hurricane, has completely devastated southeastern Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, which is where I am located, and this would explain my absence. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been affected by this storm. Please note many things are still going on in Louisiana, and this may have an effect on my reply to your question. But please be aware, I will work as hard as I can to answer your question

For every problem, there is a solution.

I recently reformatted my computer leaving me with a few kinks to untie, one being my sound card, I think.

Nothing has sound, when I try to play songs in Musicmatch it states that :
MMJB SOUNDCARD PROBLEM
WaveOut format not supported

Under my computer there is an exclamation mark beside the PCI M.A.D and PCI communication manager.

I have windows 98, and believe that there are some drivers missing. Also, at the starting of my computer it says that three files are missing, this might be the cause. These files are:
Vnetsup.vxd
Vredir.vxd
DFS.vxd

Can someone help, im sure the problem isn't to serious, but it's to good for me! I'll go crazy without Music

Thanks,
Alex.
