Thats information about the CPU. You should be able to get the chipset info when you look your PC up at Dell.

x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 7 GenuineIntel ~2192Mhz

Celeron 2.2Ghz

i think that's my chipset, at least ??

Your CD would have come with XP drivers on it, there would be none for 98. Without knowing what chipset is on your system the closest I can get you is to this Intel Graphics Driver page, http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/index.htm

What cd's did your dell come with? A drivers cd? Or installtion disk?

Yes, this is the same Dell, new as of this month, a Dimension 2350.

My new computer came with XP, and I had win98 also installed on it.

However, it has an Intel integrated AGP graphics card, and when I use win98, I am restricted to using either 2 colors or 16 colors. Some webpages are unreadable using 16 colors, and 2 colors leaves something to be desired (lol)

I was told by a technician that I needed to install a driver for 98 to have adequate colors, and I've searched as much as I know how to. Any ideas?

my video card info is:
Model: Intel(R) Extreme Graphics Controller
Driver: ialmnt5.sys

and my win98 is licensed version of win98SE
