my chipset is: x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 7 GenuineIntel ~2192Mhz Celeron 2.2Ghz i think that's my chipset, at least ?? IP: Logged |

Your CD would have come with XP drivers on it, there would be none for 98. I do have my win98 CD, if the compatible drivers would be on there..?? Yes, this is the same Dell, new as of this month, a Dimension 2350. JJ IP: Logged |

My new computer came with XP, and I had win98 also installed on it. However, it has an Intel integrated AGP graphics card, and when I use win98, I am restricted to using either 2 colors or 16 colors. Some webpages are unreadable using 16 colors, and 2 colors leaves something to be desired (lol) I was told by a technician that I needed to install a driver for 98 to have adequate colors, and I've searched as much as I know how to.
