The PCI communications device is the conexant modem and is wanting the driver so it will be reconised as a modem. You will find all of the drivers on the net. Do you have a cd that came with the cards? If not just type the name of the card in your search engine and you will find the sites to go to and get the drivers.

Sue.
For example I typed in 3dfx and found many sites that you can download the driver for it. Also I typed in conexant modem drivers and found lots. The same with HRTF 3D. ETC. ETC. !!

Well the PCI device is most likely that sound card and modem with the missing drivers. PCI is a newer type standard, ISA is old, AGP is the newest. When you took the card out, if you will notice that that slot you took it out of was white, and ISA would be black and AGP would be a tan color. Do you see a serial number or FCC# on the sound card? Is this sound card, did it come with your PC preinstalled, or did you install it or have it installed later?
