The Trojan was present in the system restore volume, and was not delete. So when you turned off system restore, all the restore points were deleted, thus deleting the virus just let us know if you have any more problems. ------------------ For every problem, there is a solution. I turned off the System restore and ran a full virus scan. Once completed I turned it back on. The problem appears to be gone. IP: Logged |

Hi all; For the last few weeks when my PC comes out of hibernation I get a warning from Avast that it has found a virus. The usual suggested action is to put it in the chest. I've copied part of the Avast log file below. Can anyone tell me what's going on and what I can do to stop this?
