Josh, ok. Thanks...

As for the email in the trash; that is the only place it shows up...as unread. I click on it (and nothing happens)..just to see what it is; from now on I will just leave it there and delete with the trash.

I do have adaware and spybot to keep them junkers cleaned out. These are good programs to use right?

Other then that entry that is all I can find. Do you have Adaware and Spybot installed on this machine? Let me ask you this do you have junk mail set right to go to the trash can? What it could be is either the email information was lost and that is why you see nothing, or more likely a spammer sent the email to you. Spammer sent invisible code that you cannot see but directs to a web address, and when you click on something it directs you to a spammer site. Does it happen only when you get that email?

Thanks Josh, I will go delete these. I am not having any real problems, other than I think I have too much junk on this computer. Sometimes it (the machine) runs and I don't know what it is doing...so thought I would do the hijack this to see what was there.

It is a little slower than normal...

One other question you might be able to help with. In my email program; I use mozilla 1.7.8; in my trash folder; periodically there appears a email message which reads: 12/31/1969 4:00 1kb...
When I click on the email there is no headers (when I do the view source), and no content at all...and if I click on another email message; and then reclick on the bogus one; it picks up the message I just clicked on...
Any idea what this is; and where it comes from? It shows up about once a week...always in the trash; as unread...
Sorry for the long message; don't know how else to describe it.
