Check out device manager by right clicking my computer, then go to properties then go to device manager, what do you have installed as your display and monitor adapters?

I have a ViewSonic Monitor and ME Device Manager tells me I have the right driver installed and need not reinstall it again (Diamond Stealth III S540). However, when I restart the computer, it gives me a message reporting that the File to make the display look properly is not working. I have tried ME Wizard to reinstall the drivers from Control Panel (as in Upgrade or Change), and ME can't locate the right files. In fact, I have located the folder with the files ME is searching for and pointed at it in the "specifc location of files" winodw and still it does not recognize them or install them.

Do you know what type of drivers you have for your video card?

I have a PC with a Diamond Stealth III S540. I downloaded AOL 9 Plus and after it created problems with my monitor display. Now Windows ME tells me the file needed for the correct disply is not working. It only gives me 16 colors and does not let me switch to 256 no matter what I do.

I even reinstalled Windows ME and still the problem persists. I know that the files for the card are stored but I cannot get Windows ME wizard to properly identify them and reinstall them.

Help. Thanks.
