Your welcome, A defrag, ScanDisk will never hurt, so you can try those. Does the message still appear? ------------------

Thansk Josh. Yes I removed them. In Spybot 1.3, I clicked on Fix Problems and I used BHODemon 2 to remove the BHO's. System seems clean. I have looked in to this abit more on other sites, but nothing applicable. i.e. If corrupt Explorer.exe then backup data and reinstall ME.... and on and on. I performed an SFC but no corrupt files. I have recommended reinstall of MS Office Suite to see if this clears it up. I now await their results. Think maybe a defrag and scandisk?IP: Logged |

Did you delete the objects that the scan found? ------------------

It only takes a few seconds for a virus or spyware to trash a system so work done minutes, hours, days, weeks, and certainly months ago don't count for much and the longer it has been the less it counts. IP: Logged |

Hi guys this is my first post here. I have a client with WIN ME that reports when she was in MS Word she got this error "Explorer has caused an error in shell32.dll. Explorer will now close". The problem is, it will close MS Word too and not save the doc. Now I did install and clean up their system several monthes ago with Spybot 1.3 (23) problems found and removed, CWShedder (none present), Hijack This Log showed several BHO's (cleaned reg), Spyware Guard, and Spyware Blaster.
