I have NO idea what happened! I was on my computer a few nights ago and it worked fine. The next day, I got on it and the sound will NOT work at all, and it freezes every little while. I can't play videos because they stop playing after about 5 seconds...in order to get them to work again, I have to click the little bar (the one like in Windows Media Player that moves and shows how much of the video has played, or how much is left) wherever it left off. The thing is, the video quits working, but the bar keeps moving towards the end like it's still playing. My sound doesn't work at all...I've checked everything, nothing is muted or anything. I click on internet and it freezes up, and in order to get it to work again, I have to do CTRL+ALT+DEL, then exit out of it, which seems to unfreeze my computer for another 45 SECONDS, if I'm lucky! I ran a virus check and it brought up nothing! My virus program is up to date, so it would have caught new viruses. I don't get it...it was so sudden! My CPU usage is normal so I know it has nothing to do with that...I don't know what to do, so someone please help! I downloaded the program I saw somewhere on here called "Silent Runners," I just didn't know where to send it or who to send it to in order to get help. Please let me know! Thanks, Matt IP: Logged |
