Just bought 2X1GB sticks of ram to replace my previous 512mb stick. I put the new sticks in the black slots (Channel A, DIMM 1 and Channel B, DIMM 1) and only 1GB of my ram is detected. When I insert them into the blue slots, (Channel A and Channel B DIMM 0) the CPU beeps 3 times. I'm not incredibly worried about the beeping, I just want the ram to work even if it's in the black slots. Also, dual channel memory is not enabled as it should. BIOS stats that single channel is still enabled and my other stick of ram is "not istalled". Thanks for the help!
