I have tried unsuccessfully to remove all reference to Symantec in my computer. It's still fouling up my system and Symantec Corp can't even tell me how to get rid of it. I found a lot of their stuff in my registry. The question, after backing up the registry, is it safe to erase all Symantec reference from the registry. Will the computer continue to boot or would this cause a failure? Any help appreciated.
