This is my first time here. I did a search on the *out of range* message and this is where I found the most information but the one solutions (lower the screen resolution in the control panel) didn't work and the other was a link to a driver that was a dead link. I've been having this problem for quite some time, where the screen goes black with *out of range* in red letters, and I had to do a restart or hard shut down and it would be back up, but it only did it on rare occasions when I was playing a game for a long period of time so I didn't worry too much about it. BUT tonight it has started doing it every 5 min or so while I'm working in a print shop on a catalog I'm doing. I have XP home. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
