I have a strange problem in that some setup files fail to open; i double click (or right click open) and nothing happens. There are no error messages or screens and no new processes appear in task manager).

The setup files in question tend to be older win95 programs but not exclusively. At the moment I am using a friends machine to install accross a network to mine, I am then able to run the program but this is hardly a long term solution.

I really do not know what could be wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated
