It should still be under warranty you might want to have them look at it, if you have not already.

Unfortunatly system restore did not help but thanks anyway, do you think maybe if the lap top had been knocked at all this could happen? i'm just wondering if one of the children have knocked it or something and haven't told me, do youthink the shop would be able to sort it out? I got it from Staples about 6months ago.

To be honest i'm not sure how to do a system restore, i've not done it before only had the lap top a few months, thanks for replying can you help at all with the restore?

Im going out of my mind!! Ive always had sound on my Fujitsu Seimens lap top with windows xp, about 3 weeks ago it just disapeared and keeps telling me i have no system speakers, no sound devices or mixers, how can this happen?? please please someone help!!!!!
