Hmmmm...sounds like you have some browser add-ons, are you using IE7 or IE6? You may have dragged the bar off the veiwing area. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your speedy reply to my problem. I do not have a gear icon in the upper right. The icons I have from right to left are "messenger," "internet connection help," "research," "Discuss," "Edit with Microsoft Word," "print," "mail," "history," favorites," "search," "home," "refresh," and "home." Are any of these the "gear icon," which you mentioned? If not, how can if find it? Thank you again for your rapid response to my problem. IP: Logged |

Are you referring to the ones in Internet Explorer? If so do not blame yourself and this is one fo the added "features of IE7, MS has removed the burden of these items from you as a default. BUT...you can put them back, click on the gear icon at the upper rigth and click on "menu bar" from the drop down menu to put them back where they belong. IP: Logged |

I don't know how I did it, but somehow I lost the buttons or words which used to be on my toolbar that said "file," and some other things. I used to be able to click on "file" and go to like "select all" and the to "save" or "delete" on my tool bar but I can't now because they have disappeared. Is there some way I can get these choices back on my toolbar. Thank you for your time and help. IP: Logged |
