Yea sometimes when you uninstall a program, it does not do it all the way, what you could try if you want to, is reinstall the program back and then use the uninstall feature found in control panel, and that should work for you. Or if you rather not do that then we can manually look for and delete this file. Or if you did the add remove feature in control panel then we can delete the file manually. ------------------ IP: Logged |

No....I installed a small recipe program and didn't like it.....I thought the "uninstall" would have removed all the necessary files, but it didn't! IP: Logged |

I recently installed a program and after using it a few times decided that I didn't like it. I went through the steps to uninstall the program but now every time I boot my computer I get an error message that the register.exe file for the program cannot be found. Since the program is gone it won't ever be found, so how do I delete the command that is prompting the computer to look for it? Thanks for any help you can give. IP: Logged |
