Yes it does http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/features/foreveryone/backup.mspx the backup of Vista will is differnt then that of 98,
Me. I have not used Backup for Vista but it would only make sense that the backup is similar and compatible.

Does anyone know if 1) Windows Vista comes with a built in backup program like Windows XP, and 2) if the Vista backup program will be compatible to the XP backup program. I am asking this question because the XP backup program was not compatible to the 98 & ME backup program.
