Why not jsut setup a password for Windows? I don't think you can have a dedicated password to not allow printing, you could setup a password to disable access into Windows, or you could possibly do a registry edit, to disable printing

How would I go about password protecting my printer? I have a small child who loves printing inconsequential pictures for no reason and the price of ink is killing me. Any help is appreciated. I have a Dell model A940 printer with Windows XP.
