When i went into safe mode it did slow down to regular speed, i was able to screw around with it enough and FINALLY get it to load up in diagnostic startup only, and it has slowed down, but everytime i reboot it now, it trys to set it back to start up with boot.ini and startup programs, and i just want it to start up with boot.ini, it's like it's trying to trick me into rebooting with whatever program is causing this running...

hope that helps?! I am lost

I don’t see anything that should boot be running, does your CPU run at 100% all of the time when in safe mode? To get into safe mode go here http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm#02

hello guys, i need a little help here, recently (without no new hardware and only software installed being a trial version of Alcohol 120) my computer has started to run at 100% CPU all the time, when looking in the task menu the culprits are either explorer or svchost.exe...explorer is the one that is the problem most of the time.

I have tried to use msconfig to reboot in diagnostic mode, but when i hit apply or OK it freezes and doesn't respond, this is in both safe mode and regular. I ran hijack this and hopefully the log will help out, cause i am stuck and becoming extremely frustrated...here is the log
