hi mamabetty: josh is right but a faster way even if my explanation might be longer...is just right click on an empty part of your desk top then hit properties at the bottom of the little box that pops up, then when the new pop window appears click the the screen savers tab at the top of this window and then go to the middle of it and click on the arrow next to were it says "screensavers" and choose or make sure "none" is choosen, then hit the power botton at the bottom of that same window then when the new window comes up click or make sure u r in the Power schemes tab and on the firstdrop down arrow also called "power schemes" click and choose "Presentations" and if u dont have that choice then just make sure that every drop down arrow has the word never chosen IP: Logged |

You might want to check the power settings, go to start-control panel then display-screen saver power then power schemes, always on then hit apply and okay. The error message would indicate that what software has expired and it is telling you this so that you can renew the subscription, thus the error message will go away, until it is expired again. ------------------ Powered by Intelligent Computing Solutions. How do I keep my computer from shutting off If I am not using it. I need to download something that takes 4 hours. Last night it shut off and did not download what I needed. Also I have a box that pops up every few seconds. It is from Symantec telling me that my protections has expired. That is what I am trying to get downloaded. How do I get rid of this box IP: Logged |
