Did you adjust the settings in the Display applet? The H Frequency or the horizontal Frequency, measured in Kilohertz yours being 56, that means the electron beam inside your monitor moves from the left to the right and back of your monitor at a speed of 56 Kilohertz. So what this means is how many lines horizontally your monitor can display. If you have changed the value of the refresh rate, and it did no good then let us know.

Okay lets see if you go to control panel then display then go to settings-advanced- then monitor, make sure the check box that says hide modes this monitor cannot display then try different values try 60 hertz then hit apply and ok. Let us know if this helps.

Hi everyone, I saw that someone also had the "Out of Range error" on this forum, but mine is different! This is how it goes

I'm a gamer so I play alot of games (I bought a few weaks ago a new monitor and a new graphic card.)
So, like every night I play World of Warcraft and since I had my new monitor and graphic card my screen just gets stucked after playing +/- half an hour.
After my screen gets stucked it turns black and give this error;

Out of Range
------------

H.Frequency 133 KHz
V.Frequency P4Hz

The only thing I can do is reboot my pc because I cant use alt+tab or esc or even move my mouse

Please can someone help me with this error, I really don't know if the problem is in my monitor or my graphic card
If needed I'll give u the information of my computer;

Win Xp Pro (service pack 1)
Graphic Card: ATI HIS X1600PRO
Screen Monitor: VIEWSONIC VA1912W
Screen Resolution: 1440x900 (highest)
