Hello,

There is nothing like Setup or anything else that comes on screen,...only thing which allows me to go is F10.
1st I restored the defaults but still nothing happens except blinking cursor.
I had a HDD test. 1st quick test was successful but 2nd test i.e. comprehensive test was unsuccessful went to 90% and displayed a message 'Read Files'
Is that HardDisk problem???

Okay so we may have to get into the BIOS, when you firs start your machine up, you should see something on the screen that says press a key to enter setup, or configuration or something like that, you need to press the corresponding button, and then go into the main menu and look for your disk drive and make sure it is detected, don’t make any changes just make sure it is detected. Also do you have your XP cd-rom, or your HP restore disk’s? We may have to try a repair; hopefully we don’t have to use the HP restore disk.
