Is this problem just limited to MS office, or in Windows? Do you have XP home or professional?

Someone advised me that I should always log on to my home computer as a user, and never or seldom as an administrator.

So I created a new user. But to do that I had to create a new adminstrator. Fine.

But now on neither of those can I find ANY of my settings. My address book is gone, I can't find any of my saved messages, my newsgroups are all gone. Or at any rate, they seem not to be accessible to Outlook Express, and my wife's MS Outlook program has the same proplem. The Search pgm can't even find ANY file with the extension .wab, which is the address book file, apparently.

Moreover, MS Office keeps trying to reinstall itself, and can't find the file data1.msi. I have googled for it and searched for it all over the internet, and cannot find a place to download it.

Someone please help me! Thank you.
