p4pints, could you start a new topic? And you might have pressed F8 to late, as soon as the PC boots press F8.

Hello,

I tried F8 n also F12 but nothing happens. I can only get to F10. I tried everything on F10 but I could not find they way to go into Ms-Dos.
Please Help

Okay F8 should have work but if you can get to it with F10 then go to command prompt only then once at the C:\ type dir then press enter See if you can get a listing if you can then let us know

No, I cant go to windows. Before windows starts cursor starts blinking.

Yes, I can go to Boot by pressing F10,...
No other keys works. I tried F2,F8,and F12,....

???

Are you able to get into windows, or can you get to a command prompt, do you know how? Does the drive boot off of?

Hello,

I have Blank screen with Blinking cursor problem with my old HP laptop.
I restored to defauld settings on BIOS but windows din't started normally, so I had an HDD test. !st quick test was successful but 2nd Comprehensive test failed after it went to 90%.
the error i get is "READ FILES"

Is that means my HDD is gone,...???

If yes then How do I take my Backup as there are some important datas on it,...?

Please help,...?
