It could be something wrong with the hard drive can you get into safe mode? To try to get into safe mode, as soon as the computer boots up press the F8 key until you get to a menu then from that menu go to safe mode, then run chkdsk if you need help with anything then let us know

Hello,

I am using XP and I am facing problem with blank screen with cursor on my laptop,
I don't know what happened as last night I changed my User Name and Password for Windows and left on Hibernate whole night.
Next day when I logged in back after I restared, it went on blank screen and says "Disk Error" I checked there was no disk no USB and nothing,...
After that I tested my HardDisk and later when I restared again it came to blank screen with blinking cursor,...
So when ever I start my laptop, it comes blank screen with cursor and I can do nothing,... Please help, where did i went wrong,...Is there something wrong with HardDisk or anything else???,...

Please help!!!
