Hello,
It's a USB, but I think I may have finally fixed the problem. I had this adapter, from usb to the old round plug-in types, and I took the adapter off and plugged the mouse directly into the USB connection. So far I haven't noticed any mind boggling cursor movements that I don't make---so hopefully that was the fix. I really appreciate this site and the great assistance one can get from the members. A double thank-you to Josh1 for initiating a reply that would have, in all probability, helped me out. Hopefully my frustration with the cursor has blown away into the wind somewhere.
Thanks again and ya'll take care,
orcaowl :-)

Hi everyone, and, HELP!
I've done everything with this Logitech non-ball mouse. I've re-installed it, I've done virus scans and ad-ware scans, and all scans.
I've looked to see that the box to snap the cursor is unchecked. I've checked it to see if the reverse works. My computer is clean, BUT, the darn cursor keeps snapping to the corners of my screen. In fact I can sometimes watch it snap to the top left corner and then slowly crawl down to to bottom left corner. Sometimes it likes to snap to the right hand corners. I have to move it around and it will stop for a while and obey my commands but it keeps on doing this as though it has a mind of its own.
I'm at a loss and am getting very frustrated, to say the least. I've never used a forum before but have come here to test you people out. Can you solve this? Can you help me. Please.
Thanks ever so much for all your help.
Orcaowl
