If you do not have Windows manage the amount of virtual memory automatically, let it do it. Download Adaware, Spybot, and MS Spyware and run them all and delete any objects found. http://www.footslog.com/board/Archives/Archive-000003/HTML/20050327-16-000026.html

Well its like this
For some reason unknown to me i have constently get a low virtual memory message when i start windows. This is not the first time it happend. It used to happen before i reformated my computer and erased everything. I even bought a new hard drive and yet im haveing the same problem agian. The first time it happend i thought mabey it was a virus but nothin came up and now i have no idea why im getting this message. Right now my page file is 358mb. i don't even know why it is so high. and now when i try to open multipul programs i get a low memory message. um ill give my system specs

HP Pavilion 061
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2500+
512 MB RAM
Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2
Total Capacity Of Hard Disks: 113.58 GB
Sum of Hard Disks: (C: D: E: F: )
Used: 67.10 GB
Free: 46.48 GB

I used to beable to run
AIM
Yahoo
MSN
FrontPage
Outlook
Photoshop CS
at the same time with no problem
and now im luck if i can run Aim Yahoo and MSN at the same time
right now i can't even open some of my higher end programs.
any one have any ideas why??
