I believe the only way to do that would be to go into the registry and change the values, to what I do not know. I browsed to the Typed URL’s in my system’s registry, and the AutoComplete Attribute Quotes and I saw the URL I have typed in IE and a vaule, if I just deleted that entry, we might assume then it will no longer show up, but I am not sure of this. If you go into the registry and change something to the wrong value then you can cause your computer not to work. Try this go to start-find-find all files then type in *.*tmp then press enter delete any temporary files that are found.

I have already tried to clear all forms and passwords and they are still there. I still would like autocomplete to be turned on for my web addresses, I would just like to delete/reset all the current entries. Do you know how to do this, even when the clear forms button did not work? Thanks.

Go back to auto complete, hit the clear boxes button, and passwords, if you do not want to use auto complete then uncheck all the boxes, then hit apply and ok.

Ok, I think that it is now narrowed down to the autocomplete function. I also have deleted the offline temporary files (from internet options). When I unselect the option for Web Address in the autocomplete settings, the web address does go away. But when I leave the box selected, the entries are still there even after I clear the the autocomplete forms. I still would like to know how delete this web address / autocomplete off of my computer, even when the web address function is selected under the autocomplete settings.

Do you know if it is the auto complete function? When you deleted your cache, did you also delete all offline content? To go to auto complete while in Internet Options, go to Content-auto complete and from there you can delete the forms. If that does not work then let us know.

There seems to be some addresses in my address bar that will not go away even after I delete my history files, temp. internet files, and cookies. They only appear when I type in the first letter of the address in the address bar. How do I delete them?!?!?
