Search assistant 180 is nasty spyware, evidently something has removed most of it but some parts are still lingering.

Try going to www.microsoft.com and downloading their free anti-spyware program to see if that will clean up the rest.

Everytime my computer boots I get a message box that says "180 search assistant WARNING The system has detected that a third party application has removed 180searchassisant, possibly without your consent. This may cause some programs not to run as expected. Please choose an option below--Options--1.Reinstall 180searchassistant so that your programs will run as expected. Requires internet connectivity. 2.Leave 180searchassisant uninstalled and clean up any 180searchassisant files or settings that remain 3.Remind me later. I choose #1 to reinstall, but after I do that I still have the same problem! Not sure what I need to do to fix this. I ran adaware and spybot, restarted, but still get the message. Thoughts? Thanks for your time.
