You could try repairing the disk using check disk.

Right click "My Computer" > left click "Properties" > right click on the "A:" drive > left click "Properties" > left click "Tools" > left click the "Check Now" button > left click both boxes to select them > and finally left click on "Start"

If the disk can be fixed you will get a message "Disk Check Complete"

Are you the only one who uses that computer, is it in a business or a home? If different disk worked then yea it looks like the disk may be bad.

I have no idea how to log on as one. I did the same thing as I always do. I put the disk in and tried to open a document in word that I typed last night. I have tried another disk. I saved something else and opened a different disk. I think the disk just went bad.

When I put my 3.5 floppy disk in and try to open it through My Computer it says that there is no id address mark. When I try to open it through Word it says that I do not have access to the disk and to see my adminitstrator. I have saved information on this disk for weeks and now I can't open it any more. Any suggestions on how to get the saved information off.
