Seems likes the sound got deleted some how, do you have your software that you should have gotten when you got the machine it is the Toshiba right? ------------------

Under device manager: Audio Codecs Legacu audio drivers Legacy video capture device Media control device Video codecs Start, Programs,Accessories, Entertainment: Neither items appear. Volume Control Message: ? IP: Logged |

You just do not hear any sound? Right click the my computer icon then go to properties then go to hardware then device manager then go to sound and video controllers, hit the + what items do you see? Also go to start-programs-accessions entertainment then go to volume control and make sure your volume is not muted, also there should be a box where you can check that says always show in the taskbar, check that. ------------------

Depends, what is wrong with it? Some laptops have a mute button, do you have the speaker icon by the clock? IP: Logged |
