It would really depend on the program and how it is written, if it was DOS based it would port over easily, if it is wriiten for Windows and needs registry entries then it gets more complicated.

Can't you just run the install program on the new system?

I run a check in program at my small inn called roommaster. Its on a windows nt computer that is formated with fat 32.

I want to move it to my new computer which runs windows xp and is formatted with NTFS.

Can I copy this program to a zip drive and copy it to the hardrive of the new computer?

Can I purchase a program to help me move this program to the new computer?
