sue, your right . i did find that there are two different "favorites" folders. i think it will solve my problem. i havent had a chance to work on it yet. ill let you know how it comes out. IP: Logged |

Ok, when you put them in your favorites folder did you put them in C:\Documents and settings\"your user name"\Favorites folder. There is a difference between the C:\documents and settings\favorites and the C:\documents and settings\"your name"\favorites folders. Your user name being the name you used as login. (I think???) Okay then do a seach for them go to start-search and select all files and folders then type in favorites and then after the search is done see if they are there. ------------------ IP: Logged |

How about when you start Internet Explorer are your favorites there? Did you place your old favorites in the new favorite’s folder? ------------------ IP: Logged |

when i got this computer, i took all my favorites and placed them in the favorites file on this machine. when i click start- favorites, not all of the links are listed. what am i missing or doing wrong? the old machine was 98, this one is xp. IP: Logged |
