I believe that is done in the user accounts. Go to start-control panel then user accounts, then go to choose how users log on and off. The uncheck use welcome screen, then I believe that will use the old log on menu when you start and when you shut down. If that does not work then let us know. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hi all. I'm running Windows XP Pro. On shutdown at home I get the choice of three boxes, "restart", "shutdown" or "cancel." On my g/f's PC that also runs Windows XP Pro on shutdown she gets a dropdown set of choices. How can I change the dropdown set of choices to the three boxes like I have at home? ------------------ IP: Logged |
