To change the icon back go to the display properties-desktop-customize desktop then go to the recycle bin, and change the icon, then hit the restore default, or if you need to browse to this folder C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\shell32.dll then you can restore the recycle bin back the default. Concerning yahoo, Yahoo companion is a toolbar right? Can you reinstall companion?

Hi all.

Two questions for you today.

For some strange reason my "Recycle Bin" and "My Computer" icons have gone to the generic folder on a white background type icon. Any idea why and how I can get the proper icons back?

I use Yahoo mail and Yahoo companion. My Yahoo companion says I have new mail, but I don't. I've tried refreshing, but no luck. Any ideas?
