To change the icon back go to the display properties-desktop-customize desktop then go to the recycle bin, and change the icon, then hit the restore default, or if you need to browse to this folder C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\shell32.dll then you can restore the recycle bin back the default. Concerning yahoo, Yahoo companion is a toolbar right? Can you reinstall companion? ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hi all. Two questions for you today. For some strange reason my "Recycle Bin" and "My Computer" icons have gone to the generic folder on a white background type icon. Any idea why and how I can get the proper icons back? I use Yahoo mail and Yahoo companion. My Yahoo companion says I have new mail, but I don't. I've tried refreshing, but no luck.
