to turn it off, go into control panel\folder options\view and scroll down to "show popup discription for folder and desktop items". Untick this and click apply and ok . Sue IP: Logged |

Yeah but powertoys wouldn't install at all for some reason so thats when I edited the registry but still no luck. Oh well. IP: Logged |

I tried the link, followed the instructions but alas it didn't work. I even edited my registry according to Micro$oft help to remove these balloons but that didn't work either (Their help is the pits) Thanks. IP: Logged |
