Your sure about that? If you do reformat, then make sure you backup your data if you have any important information. I just to make sure that you want to do this. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Josh, had a look at the Micro$oft site you recomended but seeing as it's such a minor problem the fix doesn't seem worth it. Anyway my PC is so slow at the moment I think it's time I did a re format, so I think that'll fix the problem. Thanks very much for your time and help. IP: Logged |

Your welcome try this. Go back to Internet options then go to Advanced, and look for Browsing, and go down until you see"reuse windows for launching shortcuts." Uncheck that and then hit apply and ok see if that helps. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Josh, I did have a pop up stopper running, disabled it and followed your other instructions but I still have the same problem. I ran a virus check too, thinking that might be the problem but it came up clean. It's only a minor problem but it's really annoying, got any other ideas. Thanks for helping me. IP: Logged |

Okay try this, if you have a pop up stopper on your PC then that may be the problem. If everything is fine there, then in Internet Explorer, go to Tools-Internet Options-Programs make sure the box that says check to make sure Internet Explorer is the default browser, check that and hit apply. Then while still in Internet Options- go to Advanced and hit restore defaults then hit apply and Ok. Try that and let us know how it goes. ------------------ IP: Logged |
