Yeap, the problem link was on alternative payment methods. But I decided to use the old credit card, so i didn't need the link after all.

Decided the easiest way around this problem was to renew my subscription to CA's e-Trust's anti-virus software.

I use CA's e-trust's anti-virus software. I can open their e-mail. But when I try to open the link they provide in the e-mail I get that weird message.

This is clearly a Computer Associates file, if you don't have their products on your system then I would say the issue would be at the source.

I've looked at their site, I've copied and pasted. I've even tried accessing the link from my g/f's PC. I still get the same results. But of course, they still maintain that the problem is at my end, not theirs.

Have you looked on their website for some clues? It might be a problem with there website, or that link they gave you. Have you copied and paste and try to get to the page that way?

That's the same thing I came up with when I looked into it.

Did you refresh IE and Netscape? The only thing I am getting from your error message, is this, http://support.ca.com/Download/patches/tngahd/readmes/ptf9905-157.html
however I doubt that this has anything to do with your problem. Although I am not to sure I will keep on looking for you

Hi all.

I've been trying to open up a link inside an e-mail message from my-etrust.com, but I keep getting an error message box. The error message box is an exclmation mark with the message "detail_cr_ro.htmpl [74] Use File Menu to print or refresh this page" Does anyone have any idea what this means?
