Then when the advanced boot menu comes up go last know configuration. See if that works. If that does not work then go here http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ run, the virus scan. Venus617 Junior Member	posted May 04, 2003 03:13 AM I have Windows XP.Never had a problem.My PC was on, when I noticed the blue welcome sign on.Then the wallpaper came on and that was the end of my start button and icons. I tried everything I read to do.I can access AOL through task manager, to get me on the web. I tried control/escape, control/alt/delete. It does not seem to be hidden,I tried to bring it up that way too. When I restart the window screen comes up, I have sound, the welcome screen than wallpaper and that's it. I tried the safe mode, but the start button wasn't there either. I need help. Thanks, Venus617 IP: Logged
