It may have been the keyboard button was stuck. If you notice any kind of abnormal behavior from your PC, then let us know right away.

Too many windows to count opened up. The "activity" stopped after I ran the virus scan and rebooted the PC. I'm wondering if it could have been a stuck keyboard key or mouse button.

Hi all.

Last evening whenever I tried to use Windows Explorer, My Computer and Internet Explorer whenever I opened the application up it kept opening up new Windows of the same program / locale. I ran a virus check and nothing was found. It started as soon as I started using M$ Excel 97. Any ideas?
