Are you talking about the Word 97 Suite? With Outlook and Excel, and Word Powerpoint and Acess? It should run on XP.

Well when you format you do loose everything, you have to reinstall, and when you format we can help you if your outlook is giving you problems, you can save your folders that you made in outlook and then whenever you want them back just put them back on your system. What version of outlook do you have? Outlook version 6?

Sorry I never seen your answers here soon enough. Actually I thought this format only erased XP that is why I was interested. I kinda knew that I had to probably format the hard disk and start again but I was just hoping this would not have to be done and I would loose all my programs. I have done this before and it is a real pain. I lost my emails from outlook express as the new express would not accept them back again. and my programs all had to be loaded again. Sorry to bother you if this is all I can do

I have a few problems with xp
one is I tried to reinstall it ( stupidly) and it stopped after setup and now shows on the startup screen. I want to delete it and cannot find it on the add remove section on my control panel. It says I should be able to delete xp from there. Actually this section only shows part of the programs I have on my system so I cannot find out how to remove xp or any other program I want to.
