My graphics are distorted and all the color is gone from my screen when I am on the internet. My screensavers, etc. are all distorted colors also. I get a message saying that my display adaptor is not configured properly, but when I use the windows wizard to troubleshoot the problems it says that my Primary IDE controller is not funtioning properly. When I go through the process of looking for a new driver it says the old one I have is the best suited.
I have an old computer and am using Window 98. I have gone into My computer and to Display and then checked the color resolution....it only has 16 bit as an option. I am at a loss as to what to do. It seems that the color is draining out of my screen more and more. Any suggestions as to what I can do? Thanks.
