This is the actual error message? "Some parts have come to the end of it's working life" Can you open the cover and see if anything is stuck? Such as the printhead, Is it a paperjam? To much paper in the tray?

I am running Windows 98 I have an Epson C44 printer USB 1.1 I have flashing lights, and this message. Some parts have come to the end of it's working life. This is the second time this has happend. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get over this. Or do i have to buy a new one.
