Well it’s pretty simple; Outlook Express is a local email client, meaning all information from Outlook is stored on your computer, where as Hotmail is web based, meaning all info is stored on an email database; it is not hard at all to switch between the two. Well I am sure you are aware of paths, which lead to a point. Such as www.footslog.com is a path that will lead you to this website, well same thing with Outlook, a user will input their user name and password and the correct path to hotmail.com, and outlook will lead them to their email account. So the information is sent from Outlook to the Hotmail email server, then the Hotmail email sever sends the information back to Outlook. The X’s could be because of attachments not downloading properly. ------------------ Powered by Intelligent Computing Solutions. For every problem, there is a solution.
