Buying it on a preinstalled is the best way, because when your computer is acting up, then the builder or whoever sold that to you has to give you support. ------------------ For every problem, there is a solution. I hope so. Where I live, I can buy a refurbished PC with a fully licensed copy of Windows XP for cheaper than I can buy a stand-alone copy of Windows XP. Something is definitely wrong when that happens. IP: Logged |

Yea that is the biggest thing I hear is that prices for Microsoft software is to high. Hopefully Microsoft will try and create some new things and use new strategies to lower the prices of their software. I see the new feature that WGA is using should cut down on piracy, thus lowering prices. You know Do more for less more value in the software better stability for less money. “Why pay for high priced software when you can get it for free” I read on a tech board, and while that statement may have truth. People want to know that they have genuine software, and I believe that with Microsoft and ISV's System Buliders, partners pushing that look what you can do with your genuine Microsoft software, will appeal to users. ------------------ For every problem, there is a solution.
