The problem:

Solution:
Double-click on My Computer. Double-click on Scheduled Tasks. If Disk Defragmenter is listed highlight it and press the delete key. Double-click on Add Scheduled Task. Click next. Highlight Disk Defragmenter and click next. Select Monthly and click next. Select your start time, select what day you want it to start on, make sure all the months are selected and click next. Click finish and you are done. If you want to modify any settings you can double click on disk defragmenter under Scheduled tasks and it will display the settings.
